High Noon Solar Energy Center is a $600+ million investment that will boost the local economy and create jobs, all while generating clean, homegrown electricity to meet Wisconsin's energy demands.

At peak construction, High Noon Solar Energy Center is expected to employ an estimated 600 people. After construction, the project will employ up to 5 additional permanent operations and maintenance (O&M) staff.

Local Economic Impact

An estimated $239 million will be invested in Columbia County and local communities through taxes, landowner payments, and wages and benefits over the life of the project. This will include $700,000 in direct annual payments to Columbia County and $500,000 annually to Municipalities hosting facilitiest.
